Abstract: Historiography of the bagaudic revolts from the IIIrd century to the XVIIIth century. In this text I will explain the historiographical path of the Bagaudic revolts of the IIIrd and Vth centuries from their first appearance in the sources until the XVIIIth century. I intend to carry out a study of the history of the Bagaudic unrests, with a double objective: to serve as an instrument for future investigations on the subject; and show how information about the bagaudas has been transmitted over time and this transmission has influenced the vision of them.
