Call for Editors for the next edition of our Journal, Carnival XXV, and Call for Participants and as well as PhD Workshop leaders for our upcoming Winter seminar “Multiple Baltics: Reimagining social, cultural and spatial dimensions of history” happening in Riga 3–7 December 2025. The ISHA Winter seminar “Multiple Baltics: Reimagining Social, Cultural and Spatial Dimensions of History” is a series of academic and cultural events aimed at students and young researchers to provide a platform for presenting and discussing research, promoting international cooperation and networking among history students from different countries, and fostering the development of academic skills. It is an opportunity to gain insight from diverse historical perspectives, acquire useful skills, especially digital skills, develop a doctoral thesis plan, structure scientific articles, and plan international mobility. Seminar participants will also learn more about ISHA, its activities, future plans, and opportunities to get involved. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance if they attend at least 80% of the seminar’s academic program. Carnival has published research papers written by History Students since 1999. Our work is entirely done by graduate students, who are responsible for our double blind peer review. All papers are published in a diamond open access format, without any processing fees. We encourage very motivated individuals to join our editorial board to learn more about publishing from a perspective rarely afforded to graduate students. The Call for Editors is open until 15 October.
